KAMI KEHOE: KURE THE WORLD
Known for her signature leather jacket and dark eyeliner, Kami Kehoe has made her mark on the modern alternative-rock scene. Her impressive skill set includes writing, singing, drums and live performance. With major success at such a young age, there’s no doubt this memorable star is turning heads.
MUSICAL PRODIGY
From three years old to her early teens, Kehoe played drums and wrote songs in a childhood band with her siblings. By the time she was sixteen, she decided to pursue a solo career writing, producing and even mixing her own songs. In an interview with Welcome to the Phoenix Remix, Kehoe revealed that her songwriting process started off with a guitar loop, mumbling some melodies and adding drums on her midi keyboard. Even more so impressive, Kehoe has developed a unique vocal style inspired by pop, alternative and R&B.
Kehoe realizes that a large population listens to various styles and genres on a single playlist. Considering the current landscape of today’s music scene, this further exemplifies her remarkable talent and adaptability across various genres. She loves all music and enjoys writing them just as much. In an interview with Naluda Magazine, Kehoe said that her inspirations include Miley Cyrus, Russ, Shelia E. and Omar Apollo. Of course, this adds to her authenticity in her writing style and the honest connection fans feel when listening to her music.

Kehoe’s most recent single “SLEEP WHEN I’M DEAD” released in October 2023, and has generated 1.3 million views on YouTube. This song gained a lot of attention, with fans sharing similar experiences and feelings. Furthermore, she has an impressive online following. Kehoe has 658,000 followers on Instagram, almost 500,000 followers on TikTok and 329,000 monthly followers on Spotify. It is clear she has sparked interest with her captivating new sound.
Kami Kehoe is truly a force to be reckoned with. She has a musical identity that is uniquely her own and will go far in the music industry. Moreover, Kehoe is a well-rounded song writer, writing anything from R&B, hip-hop, alternative, indie, rock, country and has even written a song in Spanish titled “Lo Siento”.

Ever since she was young, Kehoe always wanted her music to touch people and help cure parts of the world. That’s why Kehoe developed a movement through her music. In an interview with Alfitude New Music, Kehoe stated that her motto is “Kure the World,” because, “I know one day I will have a positive impact on a generation of people. If I am able to change one person’s life through my songs or through the words I say, then I’ve reached my goal”. Her songs convey raw emotions from her influential experiences, making her music refreshingly authentic.
CONTINUING SUCCESS
Kehoe has had an impressive amount of live shows, including a sold-out performance at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles. She is an incredible, multi-talented artist. There is no doubt she possesses the talent, drive, and determination necessary to impact today’s world of music. Currently, Kehoe is promoting her music and captivating her fans with teasers on Instagram for her unreleased songs.
Most recently, Kehoe collaborated with renowned producer John Feldmann, known for crafting hits for iconic bands such as Blink 182 and Panic! at the Disco. Additionally, Feldmann earned a Grammy nod for “Best Rock Performance” for his contributions to Fever 333’s “Made An America”. Both Kehoe and Feldmann are currently working on an upcoming single called “Where Did It All Go Wrong”, so fans can expect an elevated sound in this next release.
