Music Addict Awards – Terms and Conditions of Entry
1. **Eligibility:** Entry is open to all recording artists, producers, and songwriters who have released music that is available to the public during the eligibility period. Employees of the Music Addict Awards, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Music Addict Awards.
2. **Submission Period:** Submissions must be made between 12/29/2023 and 10/21/2024. Entries received before or after this period will not be considered.
3. **Entry Requirements:** To enter, participants must submit their music through the official Music Addict Awards submission form, which includes uploading audio files or providing streaming links, along with a completed entry form that includes all requested artist information, credits, and any applicable entry fees.
4. **Original Work:** All music submitted must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party. Cover songs are not eligible unless specifically permitted in a special category.
5. **Entry Fee:** There is no entry fee for submissions.
6. **Judging Criteria:** Submissions will be judged based on originality, composition, arrangement, vocal and/or instrumental performance, and overall impact. The decision of the judges is final and binding.
7. **Awards Show Participation:** Finalists must be available to attend the Music Addict Awards show. If unable to attend, the participant must notify the organizers in advance and may be required to provide a video acceptance speech or performance.
8. **Publicity:** By entering, participants grant the Music Addict Awards permission to use their names, likenesses, and music for promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
9. **Rights:** Entrants retain all ownership rights to their submitted music. However, by submitting an entry, entrants grant the Music Addict Awards a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to play, perform, stream, or otherwise use the entry in connection with the awards show and related promotional activities.
10. **Liability:** The Music Addict Awards are not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, or undeliverable entries, nor are they responsible for any errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operations or transmission, communication line failures, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
11. **Changes to Terms and Conditions:** The Music Addict Awards reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the official website.
12. **Governing Law:** These terms and conditions are governed by [Applicable Law/Jurisdiction] without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. **Acceptance of Terms:** By submitting an entry to the Music Addict Awards, the entrant agrees to abide by all terms and conditions as set forth above. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in disqualification from the Music Addict Awards.
