It’s Miller Time!
Let me introduce you to one of the fastest rising stars in any genre. Alex Miller is as humble as they come. While exuding confidence and charisma, he also being one of the most down-to-earth individuals you’ll meet. Hailing from Lancaster, Kentucky, 19-year-old Alex is the epitome of a country music star. He walks the walk and talks the talks all while giving us beautiful traditional country music. His lyrics and voice create an incredibly enjoyable experience with a vibrant infusion of modern and classical country.
Background:
I asked Alex when he first knew music was his passion. His response showed me the dedication and desire that any great artist has. Having first started singing at age 3 and picked up the guitar at age 6. From that moment, he knew this was his calling. He decided to forgo a college education to pursue his dream of being a full-time musician. Although mom was hesitant at first, she knew how talented and dedicated her son was.
Today:
He has accomplished a lot in his 19 years of life. Having been a contestant on the 19th season of American Idol, and recently signed to a Nashville-based label: Billy Jam Records. In addition, his debut album: Miller Time, is a fun and exciting album that brings us joyous melodies that venture into different territories. Focusing on heartbreak, everyday struggles, and just the enjoyment of life. This album has something any listener can enjoy. Highlighted by its second track, “Through with You”, we see a different side of Alex. One in which he depicts avenues of substance abuse and the resulting consequences. Presenting real-life subjects in a manner that suits his style of music makes Alex a rare talent in a saturated market.
With speaking with Alex, he said something that radiated with me. He explained to me that music is more than just genres. Music is an entity that brings us joy and excitement no matter what your musical preference is. One should be free to enjoy what suits them without isolating themselves to a specific category of music. Alex understands this and is one of the many reasons why he will transcend into the next tier of musical artists.
His tenacity will allow him to succeed. We at Creek Music Group are excited about what is in store for Alex. His follow-up album is already in the works and from what Alex has told me, it’s going to be one you don’t want to miss!
