Prodigious Beginnings
Born with a guitar in hand, Parker began his musical journey at just 8 years old! Under the guidance of his uncle, the esteemed saxophonist Maceo Parker, Kellindo honed his craft and cultivated a distinctive style that would later captivate audiences worldwide.

His rise to acclaim reached new heights upon joining forces with the incomparable Janelle Monae. As her lead guitarist, Parker’s virtuosity played a pivotal role in shaping Monae’s tours and hit singles. In fact, Parker is an integral figure in her Grammy-nominated albums, Dirty Computer, Metropolis, Archandroid, and Electric Lady. Dirty Computer received a nomination for Album of The Year at the 2019 Grammys. Further, his exhilarating riff on Monae’s “Tightrope” was featured in a 2011 Target Ad.
Legendary Collaborations
Beyond his collaborations with Monae, Parker shared the stage with icons such as Prince and Stevie Wonder. His electrifying performances captivated audiences worldwide. He continues to leave a lasting mark on contemporary music.
In addition to his prowess as a performer, Parker has proven himself as a versatile songwriter, earning a coveted signing with SONY ATV. His innate ability to craft compelling melodies and thought-provoking lyrics further solidifies his status as a true virtuoso. His trio, based in Dallas, is a blend of blues, rock, and funk. With the musical stylings of bassist Patrick Smith and drummer Joshua Sloan, they deliver electrifying, exciting performances. Their shows and original music seamlessly blend the spirit of rock and roll and the contemporary landscape. They are currently working on their long-awaited, debut EP. This EP will bring the true blues, rock, and funk sound back to the mainstream sonic landscape. I am thrilled for this release!
