Teri Cooper Teston
Intern Supervisor
Teri has been with Music Addict LLC since 2015. While attending school at West Texas A&M University she began her journey with Music Addict as an intern. After completing her degree, Teri was given the option to remain on staff with Music Addict because she not only has a love for music, but a strong sense of loyalty as well. After obtaining her degree, Teri worked for the City of Amarillo where she remained for four and a half years. Realizing she belonged in a position that allowed her to remain grounded in her love for music, Teri began a new journey which led her to her current position. She is currently the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Bands within the School of Music at West Texas A&M University (yes, her alma matar) where she assists in managing the multiple facets of the in’s and out’s of the University’s band schedule. WTAMU’s band is also a traveling band that often travels for their performances and one of her most important roles could be compared to that of a road manager, in the sense that she makes sure that bus charter’s are booked for their travel dates and sleeping arrangements are made at their destination. When asked what she likes most about her job, Teri consistently says, “The biggest perk to my job with WTAMU is getting to hear the band perform when they practice in the band hall. I get to hear how they improve and it’s a constant serenade of live instrumental music. I love it!
